Why FOG Management?

The EPA mandates a program be in place to help prevent the introduction of pollutants into a POTW that will interfere with operation, pass through the wastewater treatment plants, and improve water conditions for communities around the country. Tracking an FSE’s hauling schedules, companies used to perform hauling, and hauling practices will greatly reduce the risk of SSO’s and threats to toxic discharges into public water systems.

Provide BSI with an initial inventory of your FSE’s (food service establishments) and their grease trap/interceptors. We will streamline your FOG processes, making your program much more efficient.

BSI will send a notification to FSE’s informing them of hauling schedule for the year. Each notification is customizable with your logo and text, based on your requirements or code. More notifications can be sent based on your needs.

FSE’s or haulers can enter our site to log the manifest information electronically….no more receiving reports on paper! BSI never purges your data so you are always available to view manifests on your FOG portal for any address in your inventory.

Each Municipality has personalized, secure, multi-user access to all test reports with real-time data. Once logged in, the user can search, sort, and export any data into an Excel spreadsheet making them GIS compatible. All non-compliant facilities can also be reviewed in real-time.

Our website is adaptable on any device, making it easy to access your FOG program anywhere! Whether you are out in the field for an inspection or at your desk, your data is available at your fingertips.

BSI Online assists municipalities across the country in protecting public health and the environment from the dangers of sanitary sewer overflows. Please click below to login.
